I got my dad one as a gag/

I am not complaining because my office is new and big, but it used to be part of an open area and when they built the office they left one of the HUGE HVAC vents in my office. Long story short, Door open...freezing, door closed sweating.
I’m still rocking my tasteless electronic leash extension aka apple watch.

We’ve done things like that in my plant, and it makes some places either freezing or a sauna.
I get why people wear those, but I like being able to disconnect from my phone.

IT man needs IT things unfortunately. I’ve got a timex weekender that I wear with a suit .
For a long time I was infatuated with having a Rolex (a Milgauss) to be specific. It was one of those things that I researched and shopped until I lost interest. After spending that kind of money on an engagement ring, I kind of lost it for jewelry in general, haha.

I have thought about getting one almost exactly the same as that one! Very cool!
I’m still rocking the same Timex Ironman Triathlon I’ve had for the last 19 or so years since I was in Grade 9...it’s been through 3 batteries or so and like...6 straps...

A man of taste, or at least practical enthusiasm for usable style. I’m enjoying my ‘sniper’ faced amphibia. I put a black bezel on it. But I may need another with a blank stainless bezel for a bit more dress. Amphibia s have been to space AND Siberia. I think they can do anything.

I, too, wanted a milgauss. I always liked the datejust, but I thought it was too small. I eventually got over that as I discovered I really like the smaller size at 36mm. I haven’t really ever thought about having to shop for an engagement ring, that’s a future me problem.

Had it not been for the love of my life I would have been flat out angry about the purchase, haha. I had these grand plans for a proposal, but ended up proposing the same night, i n front of the local post office while walking her home from work. I could not bear another anxiety filled moment thinking about dropping the pretty sweet car tiny piece of jewelry in my pocket and losing it.
